Jesus won the Battle!

We are reminded again

How God loves you and me 

I pray we all will realize

the message God conveys today...

Look at Him

Look what we did to Him

We scourged him with our sins

But in His every strife

We are healed...

Look at the cross

remember His portrait

of suffering and pain...

He bore all our sins

redeeming us from eternal death...

and gnashing of teeth...

Look again at the cross

He is not there anymore 

He overcame eternal wrath

death is a defeated foe

Jesus is Alive!

Our Lord is risen!

Today and always 

let this truth be an anchor

for our soul

and be reminded always

To live a life in victory from sin

for JESUS won the battle

He won our battles...

Always remember then...

He is Risen!

Death is a culmination 

An ending of time 

The saddest farewell

The greatest fear of mankind

It is a portrait of uncertainty

a blank imagery of a beyond 

an abstract reality

the cruelest truth in life

Yet death does not end 

in the grave 

In His love He sent His son

to became man yet God in one

to save the soul 

of those who believes

from the sting of death 

from the lies of sin...

Yet He was found no reason

to be crucified 

They scourged Him

and nailed to the cross

On the saddest Friday 

He've given up His life

Yet on the third day

From the tomb 

the stone was rolled

Jesus is risen!

The Lord is Alive!

He died for us to see

He has defeated death

In Him is life and eternity 

Yet we die one time 

from this body

Fear not...

For in God's time

As He has risen 

We will rise from the grave

Believe...
