Still I continue writing 

marking in ink of tears

the cries of my heart

in losing us...

in losing him...

living each day without him...

breathing moment by moment 

with the memories 

that together we made...

through my days 

that lost their meaning...

Though in the midst 

of our hopes and dreams 

in the middle of nowhere 

he turned his back 

and behind he left me...

Just at the time that I needed him

he pushed me out from his system...

Yet... until this very minute 

here I stand alone in my forever rain 

til the cold and drain 

will take my soul 

in my final resting place...

Though he left me here...

still my heart beats for the love 

that we once shared

and the memories will never leave me

til the last drop 

of my ink of tears...

because I love him....
